Thought I'd start the ball rolling with this shot taken on the 8th August.  1/750th sec at f8.  Taken on the Isle of Arran (Machrimore Stone Circle).

Hi Forum

Here's my entry for Grand Day Out. It was taken on July 28th, the last day of the Manchester Jazz Festival. The crowd was having a great time in St Ann's Square enjoying the sun and the music from a crazy Spanish band called Dead Capo.

I used my Nikon F60 with Ilford HP5 and probably F16. Scanned into Photoshop and cropped tightly to focus on the happy faces. It's a bit grainy and rough but I hope it gives the idea of what it was like there then.

All the best Joan
